Minimalist

When creating a minimalist outfit, monochrome is not the only option. Minimalism can be adapted using colors other than neutrals and can be incorporated into other styles, such as classic, casual, athleisure or sporty, and feminine. The following are examples of how minimalist outfits can be created using different styles for a brunch outing.

Outfit #1

This outfit is trendy for the spring and summer seasons incorporating pieces such as wrap top, straw clutch, and espadrilles. The color combination is kept fairly simple and consists of only black, white, and chambray. The chambray is used to bring a pop of color to the outfit. The accessories are delicate and used sparingly, since the goal is a minimalist look after all.

This outfit is inspired by athleisure and is a comfortable option for a brunch outing. Distressed denim replaces leggings in order to dress up the outfit. It is paired with a white tee with a cut out feature and a lacy bralette. White accessories are used in the form of a stylish white backpack, white sneakers, and a white baseball cap. The color in the bralette is used to sneak color into the ensemble. This is a casual option for a brunch outing and an afternoon of errands afterwards.

This is a monochromatic outfit and dressier option for a brunch outing. The sleeveless t-shirt black dress is paired with black booties and a black bamboo crossbody bag. Pink tinted black sunglasses are used to bring a bit of color to this outfit. Delicate gold earrings and/or rings is an option, but the outfit can be maintained bare of jewelry and still look phenomenal for a brunch date.
